I was driving in a huge windstorm when a branch off a tree landed right on my back window. The sound of the impact was incredible. I'll consider myself lucky that it didn't touch any paint, but it left a mark on the window that looks not so much a single scratch, but more like a skinned knee. It's contained in an area that's probably 2" x 3". Can anything be done or am I gonna have to live with this?

The blemish may be covered by your auto insurance. All your glass is covered under the "comprehensive" part of your policy.
Call your insurance company and see what they have to say. That's what I would do.
I know there is some method for removing scratches from glass but the glass has to be very hard (tempered). I am not sure if auto glass is tempered to that hardness. I also don't know what the methos is.
