Warning: before you think about purchasing a 06-07 BMW 3 series test drive them first. These vehicles have poor seating(even the leather lumbar seats) design. Front and passenger seats are small and uncomfortable, designed for midgets. Second , the guys at BMW have not solved the noise problems coming from the dash of the vehicle. Buyer-beware,

it's too bad because the design and look of the vehicle is amazing, but again its what is insice that counts, lets hope they improve in the upcoming years.

Peace

Maybe if you would take better care of your car you wouldn't have a problem.

But seriously if your seat is making a noise it most likely is the airbag in the side or the cover in the back where the seat pocket is.

The 3 Series is a car for car nuts, its designed to be driven like a sports car, my suggestion if it is to small because it is a small car, get a 5 series. Not for the faint of heart.

I found the seats in my 2006 330i to be very comfortable, and not small at all. I don't think this car is a perfect match though if you are over 6 feet tall, and/or "plump" [:)]

The interior noises/rattles are HORRIBLE. This is probably one of the main reasons I got rid of it. The car drove and handled so well, but it's hard to enjoy the drive, when your $45k car sounds like an old Hyundai inside. Seriously, the dash rattles drove me nuts!!! I love the looks of the E90 sedan, but I think the build quality is for sure sub-E46 quality. The new E60 (2006+) interior problems seem to be much better, but I guess time will tell.

A lot of cars take time to settle, hit them around 5,000 miles you get rattles and it tends to go away after about 10-15,000 miles. My 3er hasn't had problems but the seat started doing it and if fixed it, if there is a rattle there is always a reason.
