yea after replacing a bunch of emissions parts on my e30 I was getting 450 miles to a 16.4 gallon tank (!!) Combined driving, getting about 29-31 mpg highway. Should give M20 owners something to aim for... because it IS possible.
I get about 330 mpg on mine. At least thats when the fuel light comes on and I buy gas. It's got 191,000 miles on it and during the summer I run the AC all the time. I also drive it agressively (or as agressive as you can get in a 318i).
