Burning Smell

I just noticed a burning rubber smell and I cant figure it out. Breaks and wheels are not hot after driving. If I had to pipoint it it seems stronger on the driver side rear where the muffler is. It is not the standrd rotten egg smell I usually get. Definetly not under the hood. Car is driving fine.....

maybe you ran under a plastic bag an the exhaust caught it. inspect all parts that get hot to see.

do you have a leaky axle seal or diff. cover? if so, it could be leaking on exhaust sys. and that is burning it off

Thats sounds most logical since the smell only comes when the car warms up, and is on the muffler side. I just got under there with a flashlight and everything looks dry. I will check it again after a ride. Thanks!....
