330ci vs 330 ci M

So this new M version of the 330ci has 10 more horses and 8lb-ft more torque but uses the exact same engine. Where does the extra power come from? Just better engine management and a better exhaust system?

it comes from magical M fairies that sprinkle majic dust on the engine when you press the accelerator actually, 10 ponies are pretty simple to get with just a freer flowing exhaust and intake, maybe some engine management, software, new camshafts...the question people ask is whether or not it is worth $3900, when the sports package and premium package offered bring it fairly close for less $$$

Open differential kinda bothered me about the package, but I would opt for the ZHP over the non-ZHP if given the scenario.

The performance numbers are a lot better than what 10hp should realistically be able to do.
