what wheels and tyres should i get

i have desided to put some 17 inch wheels on my 323 cab im thinking of the m3 wheels but not sure what tyres i will need or which to go for either the sunflower type or regular type wheels i will get wider wheels for the rear though. how will i tell if they are genuine bmw wheels and not copies and finally what size tyres should they have
