question about leasing a bmw

hi i just leased a 2004 bmw 325ci..i am wondering...what can i do to the car? am i allowed to put in subs or speakers,,,,new radio face? tints? etc?

You can do whatever you want, as long as you return the car back to its normal condition. If you tint the windows, you can just give the car back to them with the windows tinted. But stuff like exhaust, air intake, new radio (or any other aftermarket stereo equipment) have to be returned to the factory specs. If you are not sure about certain things, go ahead and ask, I can help you out, I am a pro when it comes to lease contracts.

hey i have another question

let says i want to put a new radio....where could u put it because i have the navigation system ....is it even posssible?...could i add speakers or subs to the radio that already comes with the car? my main concern is that i want more bass and volume to the stereo basically.. [headbang]

Inquire...

Ask around - check your local stereo shops and see what kind of ideas they have for the HU. As for the subwoofer/s and amp/s they can be nicely stowed away within the trunk. If you're not looking to finance/purchase the car once the term is up, remember you can only 'customize' so much; don't cut or drill unless you can patch it and make it undetectable (this is especially important for the HU install).

speciialk, did you get the optional Harman Kardon sound system? As for placement of the head unit, it is very limiting because of the navigation system. You will definitely need something that requires custom fabrication and custom fabrication means you're gonna need lots of money.

nah i didnt get the harmon kardon system so thats why im kind of worried...where would i be able to put it...since the nav system takes up alot of room
