There at streetdreams.com Sorry I don't know how to post a pic. or put up a link to the page. I have been looking for some new wheels since two of my design 44's got bent. Anyway, I found some 17" m3 replica's in silver and my favorite gunmetal with a silver lip. My car is black so I am not sure which one I will get. Anyone got pics of a black car with gunmetal rims? It doesn't have to be a bimmer but that sure would be nice. I may keep looking for some aftermarket wheels with polished lip and black centers. I really like the looks of those on black cars.

The old school Fuchs look, like the mid 80s 911s, is sweet. I always liked the black wheel with polished lip. As for buying replicas, the general sentiment around my people is that the replicas are low quality, prone to bending (too soft), and too heavy. Better to get OEM if you are going with the OEM look, otherwise find a nice lightweight forged wheel. Well, I race, so I have to consider that. But if you are just going for bling it don't matter what you put on, I guess.

Yeah, with this car it probably will never see a track. Or even street raced. The most this car will get other than the daily grind will be some spirited driving in the Ozark mountains. That is some of the best driving I have found in the country. I really like the west coast especially up around Oregan but that's a little out of the way by about 1,300 miles give or take a few.

My goal with this car is to get the handling back to stock or a little better. Improve the performance somewhat and to give the dated look an update to a more modern sportier car. All my racing will be done with another lude or an older Porsche preferably a 944 turbo or 914-6 with the Porsche club of America at Hallet race track and some of the venues they go to.
I have been kicking around the idea of a 90 nissan 240sx with a Sr20TED motor swap. That car with that motor is a real hand full.
