A/C problems

My Air conditioning Unit keeps turning off and on for some reason. I don't have it set on auto. Does anybody know why? Thanks alot.

It could be a sensor problem. Your car should still be covered under warranty if its an E46.

Is the whole AIR Conditioning unit under Warrenty? I'm not exactly sure. Thanks for your help.

Yes, it's all covered but if u want to just double-check then ask ur service advisor when u call to make an appt. Tell them the problem and u should get an answer right away....i had a similar problem, mine had a mind of it's own...it would just randomly change speeds even if the fan setting was on low....they determined it was a faulty blower and final stage unit and replaced it free of charge
