3-across America: what happens there?

I am trying to decide whether or not I want to go to the 3 Across America show in Chicago tomorrow (I'm already "registered").

I've scanned posts...and other than people posting pics they took, I don' t see any mention of what actually takes place there.

Can someone brief me on what to expect?

It will probably be very similiar to the one I attended in Philadelphia in the evening. I arrived at 6 PM and registered. They had cash bar and very nice (free) hors d'oerves from 6 to 7. The two cars were under a cover. The North American product manager spoke for about 10 minutes, and then they uncovered the cars. Everybody got a hands on look, sit in them, etc. The batteries were disconnected so there was not much to play with. That's about it.
